An estimated 10-30% of people who develop COVID-19 have illness symptoms lingering for weeks to months, and some more than a year in duration. This presentation will briefly review the history of other post-viral syndromes, explore data emerging about “Long COVID, and discuss common comorbid conditions and the possible relationship to myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS).

Brayden P Yellman, MD is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and rheumatology. He completed a BS in biology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Doctor of Medicine at University of Texas in Houston. He completed a residency at Exempla Saint Joseph in Denver, CO, and a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
